The City of Crowley, Texas, requires annual backflow testing be done by a licensed backflow tester in accordance with federal, state and local ordinances and codes. For more information about backflow prevention and licensing, go to http://www.ci.crowley.tx.us/.
Backflow occurs when the water pressure reverses within the pipes, causing contaminated water to flow from homes and businesses back into the potable water supply. To prevent this from happening, certified and tested backflow devices, also known as backflow preventers or backflow valves, must be installed and must be inspected once each year.
This backflow testing must be conducted by a certified backflow testing company which holds a current backflow testing license with the City of Crowley.
City Backflow Testing is one such backflow testing company. City Backflow Testing tests, maintains and repairs all backflow devices.
