Backflow happens when the water pressure from the water supplier drops suddenly, causing the pressure within pipes to reverse. When this happens, contaminated water will flow back into the potable water supply. Backflow testers and installers are required to apply for and be granted a backflow testing license by the City of Austin and that that license be current.
City Backflow Testing tests, maintains and repairs all backflow devices in Austin, Texas, according to those federal, state and local requirements.
